New Year's Resolutions '04 by Claudia and Mark Kondracky For Racers and Race Committees
Tack on headers COVER always even if it looks better on the other side Never listen to your sister Never listen to your brother Whenever more than one, be the loudest tacticians aboard When racing off the CT River, plan for drifting marks It's always colder, hotter, stormier, than the weather report. The wind is different too Help bring new sailors into racing Be nice when overtaking a slower boat Food can be heavy, on light air days give it to the race committee. Share brownies Put out enough rode on marks Clap, hoot and holler when you see someone peeing off the stern of another boat If the wind lightens, shorten your course Never sigh Never count these sighs Spouses should be at different ends of the boat If you've been married for x years, then different boats Bring your own BIG plate to race party buffets Always sound like you know the rules Have fun Happy Holidays to all Claudia and Mark Kondracky |
